JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel
From the creators of Botox® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel was designed to restore the youthful skin that has been diminished by age and other skin changes. The injectable gel filler, is a “next generation” dermal filler that has been FDA approved. JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration.
As a non-surgical procedure, Dr. Verne Weisberg and Dr. John Cederna gently eases JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel under the skin into the mid to deep dermis of the face to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, “smile lines”, or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds – the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). Unlike many collagen-based dermal fillers, JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel provides a smooth, natural, noticeable look and feel.
There are 3 different types of JUVEDERM® Injectable Gels and Dr. Weisberg or Dr. Cederna will discuss which areas will bring the best results to your face. The most common areas where JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel is used are:
